Cost

Competitively priced with other surfaces, the cost of MasterCast products is usually more than most laminates and tiles, but less than engineered quartz or natural stone.

Customization

The unique properties of this product mean its usage varies more widely than any other surface material. In addition to custom shapes, designs, and colors, it is possible to incorporate integral bowls or splashes in either matching or contrasting color or texture. Extensive surfaces without seams or grout lines are also possible. No other surface materials can achieve this within the same price range.

Edge Treatments

Drop down (waterfall) and ogee are most commonly featured in ¾" thick countertops. In addition to these, 1½" thicknesses can also use beveled, bull nose, ogee, drop down, and several other types.

Installation

For a normal-sized house, this can usually be accomplished in less than a day. The contractor, remodeler, or manufacturer can easily install MasterCast products.

Maintenance

Of all surface materials, MasterCast is the easiest to clean and maintain, with no time-consuming sealing or special cleansers needed. Spray foam or any nonabrasive cleaner may be used. Repairs to remove scratches or chips can easily be made by a professional.

To purchase items in standard sizes, shapes, and colors, simply specify your needs to your local manufacturer. For angles, curves, odd shapes, unique colors, or any other custom design, a template/field measure is recommended for best results.
